Well I am just baffled by the fact that you asked Divi users some time ago to get a Divi for Life license and back then we got access to all the features. Now it’s having Divi for life gives you access but now we will charge you so much money on top of that by having us pay for subscriptions and other “Al a carte” style payments. This is just a shame.

please stop wasting your time on artificial intelligence, in 99% of cases it is not suitable for the end customer, it's dabbling. We need new features that we can control, new modules, customization options, etc. Divi team, I understand that you need money for development, but I never saw in many years anything new for ordinary users who just want to make functional sites for customers. Not to generate something with ai.

Built over 200 websites using DIVI. Over the time, You guys became outdated. Gallery missing, carousels missing, pop ups missing and a lot of more. I had to move to Elementor, which is like a class above Divi. However, waiting for Divi 5.0 to see what can do. But for now, faar away from Elementor unfortunatelly. I understand that team needs a salary and regular payment, but buying a Divi lifetime membership is like having a nothing anymore.

This is just an ad. there's lots of free AI services out there, many of which are open-source on github, that are far better than these options.

Even better than wamp and xampp: I use laragon. With laragon you get everything up to wordpress installation in just one click. Not to mention it creates virtual hosts for you too.

Thanks! Just a note for people who are using the latest version (June 2024) of Divi. You'll need to change the CSS slightly to center the "Menu" text. Put the following CSS in the "Main Element" of the row settings: display: flex; align-items: center; justify-content: center;

Ai images is useless unless you want to spend 20 - 30- times asking for a very basic description that Divi consistently fails to achieve, I am quicker going to Canva, selecting exactly the image I want removing the background adding a custom background so have own custom image, set exactly what dimensions etc and format I want and optimise it rather than an hour of failed Ai images that are not even optimised, the great Ai site has images that will all need to be optimised and compressed so not saving at all and trying to keep a cohesive format and type is non-existent as are the 1000s of free layout, all of which are almost the same as each other except the non optimised images and sometimes the graphics for services etc are good except the odds of the few provided matching exactly what you need is zero and thus all are pointless as you need to generate your own. And of course, all content is optimised for $ as are many graphics also useless for non $ users, Many promises and most fail to deliver. One in a blue moon you may get something that works but that is remote. Google map API is outdated just embed the code and save the bother and keep simple for all to use in minutes.

HELLO does have issues with properly displaying submenus on mobile devices. They will appear but you are not able to click on those pages. This seems to be a very well-known issue and while a lot of chatter on this topic, there really doesn't seem to be a fix or work-around for it.

If I can create pages and sites with WordPress and a good theme (which has its own tools), is this about choosing a builder live Divi instead? Or if one is using Divi or SeedProd, why does one need a theme at all?
